Cloth invokes many levels of meaning, including the intimacy of daily contact with our bodies, statements of personal status and expression, malleability, and protection from exposure. The Art Cloth Network is comprised of artists who have chosen this sometimes mundane, sometimes elevated medium for personal artistic expression. For the past 14 years, members have supported and inspired each other to create wonderful art cloth. An integral part of these efforts is an annual exhibit that showcases and shares new work with a wider audience.
Color affects us all. It creates a mood, repels or attracts, and evokes emotional response. This exhibit celebrates both color and our response to it. We invite viewers to share in this experience.
